Philharmonic Orchestra

½ûÂþÌìÌÃ

Philharmonic Orchestra

The ½ûÂþÌìÌà Philharmonic Orchestra offers students the opportunity to perform traditional and contemporary orchestral repertoire in a collaborative, performance-focused setting. Open to music majors, minors, and non-music majors, the ensemble supports continued musical engagement beyond high school while fostering balance, creativity, and artistic growth through orchestral performance.

Ensemble Experience & Musicianship

Participation in the Philharmonic Orchestra emphasizes high standards of performance quality, musical expression, and ensemble collaboration.

Instrumentalists develop strong nonverbal communication and leadership skills, gain familiarity with orchestral traditions and innovations, and deepen their sensitivity to the expressive power of music.

Through rehearsal and performance, students grow as musicians while contributing meaningfully to a shared artistic experience.
