Forgive me. I have another assignment I SHOULD BE BLOGGING ABOUT...but I'm swept away by meandering amongst many "old car" photographs I've taken - One especially recently. (Can I say "especially recently" ???) It flows. I like it.. I LOVE old cars. I LOVE taking photos of old cars. I LOVE taking photos of old cars on film even more. WHY?! They seem more individual. They seem to NOT look all the same. The colors! The lines. The shapes and stories they sometimes tell.. The many years they've been driven, or held inside, cherished sometimes. GAWD. SO MUCH STYLE. If I ever get to go to Cube (SOON) before capitalism runs amok and ruins the beauty still vibrant there -- I might die in a film and nirvana heaven. Here are some of my very favorite photographs of old cars - that have become like friends... I have more still, but I thought I'd stop here.

Like you I also love old cars and I must say I have my own reasons for loving it. I even wish that I was born earlier so that I will be able to see those old cars. By the way, one of the things I have observed here in your blog is that you are really good at taking pictures of these old cars. Are you a photographer or taking pictures is only your hobby? I just want to know, of course, because it seems like you are already a professional when it comes to this field. It was rare to see such cars like that and with that being said I got really excited and happy when I see these amazing cars. Leave a Reply. |
