A long time ago, in a land far, far away...
I shot and developed my first roll of 3200 film. This was almost two years ago! I found these negatives from the roll and scanned them in - to see what I had - if anything.. What's funny is how little I "knew" about 3200 film then. :-) I thought 3200 would be like a SUPERPOWER film. That anything at night, and dark, would suddenly be magically (and beautifully) illuminated just by being photographed with this speed of film. It didn't "quite" turn out that way. Haha. The more I learn, and the more I know - the more I see how fun it is to go through the process of experimentation, BEFORE I know what's what. It is so much more fun approaching some new film, developer, or photographic technique or process with this idea that it's magic before you finally learn what really doesn't work and why. SO...when I went out to shoot this roll of film...I was shooting for magic at night. Which now seems like a LONG TIME AGO, IN A LAND FAR, FAR AWAY... I sometimes want to know and learn everything so fast - this is a good reminder of how fun it is trying to figure things out and being artistically experimental. If you don't know what is impossible, you just do it. Right? My favorite photo from the roll below..

Reminding about the old moments is always exciting because you are sure to get to know about many things that you have already forgotten. It is the best thing about reminding that time.
